I'm already filling up our calendar with Summer Festivals and Outdoor Flea Markets! The only fashion requirements are great shoes for walking, and protection from the sun. Life couldn't be better than with a great pair of sneakers and the perfect Spring hat.
The perfect Spring Picnic calls for a look that is a little bit feminine and a little bit masculine. My father would be proud of my manly watch, straw hat and 'woodsy' boots. My mother would swoon over my choice of lace.
My favorite time of Spring is right before Summer starts to settle in. Right when you have to start dressing smart, simple pieces for daytime, and light sweaters for dinner. When feeling sticky still feels good on the skin, and sweating feels exciting after a long winter of hibernating, that's when 3 basic pieces and a stand-out accessory can come together to form the perfect Spring look.
