Halloween in the Office

Halloween in the Office
It would be a bit of an understatement for me to say that I love a reason to get dressed up. Almost every morning I wake up, and declare it a good day to dress up. When it came time for Halloween however, I couldn't for the life of me come up with not only a reason to get dressed up, but what I wanted to dress up as! I knew that I had enough in my closet to be able to pull a look together for the office on Friday, but also knowing that Friday was declared our office clean out day, I knew my costume had to fulfill a number of things. The biggest of which was comfort, warmth and the ability to climb boxes if needed. Enter the sailor hat.

When I said that I've recently joined the ranks of the Nautical stripped obsessed, I wasn't kidding. Strips are easily spotted in my closet, so I knew that I could wear one of my favorite shirts, top it all off with Johnny's Gilligan Hat, throw on a ribbon and call it a costume. A bit of a cop-out? yes. A fantastically comfortable costume that everyone 'got' right away? Absolutely. All hail the Nautical Strips.

Great outfit! It looks super comfortable, and if I had dressed up, it would've been the kind of costume I would've put together.
