Shoe Closet

In an attempt to help me stick to my budget, I decided last night to do a bit of inventorying. My thinking was that if I knew how many shoes I actually own, I could convince myself to not buy any more for awhile. I know the number would be around 40 or so, but I had no idea just how many pairs of shoes I have...

84 Pairs of Shoes
How can that be? I have 168 single shoes at home in my closet. I guess keeping them well organized really masked the actual size of my collection. And I say collection dear readers because 84 pairs is not normal. I think over 45 and you are instantly bumped up to the collection side of the world. Knowing there are 84 pairs of shoes at home, there is no way I can convince myself that I need any more pairs. Not until the next Must Have Monday anyways...
So in the meantime, some photos of some closets that also contain some pretty outstanding collections.

Holy crap that's a lotta shoes. Although, I'm not sure if I'm one to talk. I keep telling myself I have 20 or so pairs, but I might be rivaling you. Now I wanna go count!

It was 84 pairs for all seasons, right? Sandals to winter boots? I should count mine but I am afraid I would never buy another pair again if I knew the actual number.

84 is a LOT. I suspect I am not far behind you.

We better make that 86. I forgot my two pairs of ugg like winter boots. I counted all of the shoes that are in my current rotation, I wear all of these shoes, which is the scary part, and I jusy donated a bunch which is even scarier. I didn't include flip flops though since they are my extreme casual shoes for summer and only come out once or twice a year.
