Setting Sail

Johnny's work was hosting the last Country Cruise of the season. There is just nothing better than enjoying a few drinks, some great music, friends and the Hudson River. Since we would be boating downstream in the evening, and fall has set in, I knew that thick leggings were a must, but I just wasn't ready to settle for less than a dress. Just because it's getting cold doesn't mean all dresses must be packed away. I was surprised at just how warm I was. Even as it got colder and colder, I never needed my jacket and I'm happy to say I made leggings work without looking like an amateur.

Dress: Old Navy $4
Yellow Cardigan: Urban Behavior $3
White Cardigan: Target $12
Belt: Came with dress I purchased at Walmart for $5
Leggings: Walmart $2
Frye Boots: gifted from my lovely stylish boyfriend!
Necklace: Joyce Leslie $2

Thank you, Kayla! The capsule challenge is tricky, especially with changing seasons (we've had mild, dry and sunny weather and VERY rainy weather this week, sometimes both in the same day) but I've had fun trying it out.

I love your green dress and yellow necklace! And your boyfriend must be incredibly sweet to gift you with Frye boots. They look wonderful.
