This summer I managed to curb my shoe shopping habits as I spent more time this summer clearing out my closet, and much less time filling it. A part of that clear out came from me finally accepting that I am not longer a young girl. As I reach 24 this fall, I can't seem to justify pointy pink heels and tight mini skirts like I was once able to. That is just simply not my aesthetic anymore. I have changed the way I look at shopping and how it relates to my style. All of this personal style reflection helped me avoid shoe stores this summer, and I have gone months without a shoe purchase. Well the fall fashion bug has finally bitten me, and quickly behind it came it's cousin insect the shoe bug. Payless (which was so disappointing to me this summer) seems to have stepped up their game and brought out some amazing shoes for the season. I don't foresee myself stepping back into the shoe shopping game anytime soon, but if and when I do, it will likely be at my local Payless. These beauties made their way onto my Wish List!
