Sweat Trap

I don't have to say much about the heat. It seems bloggers all through-out the country are on the same page, this weather stinks. I don't remember such a hot summer, and yet the heat doesn't bother me, it's the record high humidity that has me gasping for air. I spend all winter long dreaming of leaving the house without a heavy coat, and waking up without having to put socks on before heading to the bathroom, so I'll be damned if you'll catch me complaining about this heat. What I will complain about however is how creativity seems to be stifled by heat. I spend all winter finding new ways to layer this and that, and how to combine different pieces for different looks. This summer, I prefer to stick to simple items, and absolutely no layering. Belts seem to be sweat traps, and who could even be bothered to add an extra layer?
I just couldn't resist on this day though. The heat may have my actual choices limited, but that hasn't stopped by brain from spitting out all sort of ideas of color combinations, and accessory options. As soon as I imagined this pink vest with my favorite flowy polka dotted tank I couldn't resist. What I could do however was take these pictures quickly, rush to my office and as soon as I got back into my car 8 hours later immediately take off everything that was not a bottom layer. Sorry fellow rush hour traffic drivers. There will be no exciting outfits for you to stare at, and instead the bare necessities. I may or may not be in my underwear only, I mean no-one can see below the window line anyway right? Right?
