Winter Wear

I've read so many bloggers talking about their winter uniform consisting of a great pair of tights, some amazing boots and a dress or skirt to match. I've tried and while I do find the look comfortable, as the snow continues to fall here, tights seem the furthest thing from practical at this point. I envy the lovely ladies in Texas and California who brave the cold with their amazing outfits, but here in lovely New York, it's frigid and unnecessarily windy. I pick out these amazing outfits complete with tights and great shoes each night, and every morning I wake up to the sounds of a howling wind and replace the skirt with a great pair of jeans and out the door I go. You reach that point in every season where practicality comes first, and this my friends is that point for me.
I know what you'd say to me if we could have a verbal conversation instead of just a blog one, Is that your second owl necklace this week? Yes, in fact it is. Did you buy them from the same store? Yes, in fact I did. Doesn't it defeat the rarity of an item if you buy a similar item at the same time? Almost a waste of a purchase? Yes, in face it does. But this owl necklace had a clock face in it's belly. See I don't own a watch because my wrists are so small so really this is a necessity, not just an accessory.
See readers, with my amazing persuasive abilities I can convince even you that every purchase makes sense. It is a very scary super power I posses, and it must be used carefully. Very Very carefully.

girl, you dont have to convince me. I have a zillion animal skulls and talons. I feel you.

Also, it's never "a pair of tights" when it's cold out. It's sometimes even a pair of tights, 2 pairs of leggings, hiking socks and then knee socks. lol! It just LOOKS basically the same as one pair because it's all so slim!
