Wind Blown

The unfortunate death of a co-worker meant I had services to attend right after work. I always have a hard time dressing for funerals. I want to wear the respected black, but I hate to be stuck all day in a somber outfit. Sometimes the best way to celebrate a person's passing is by enjoying life and the colors that fill it. Maybe some mustard yellow will do the trick?

I'm so sorry to hear about your co-worker. That is awful!

I share your thoughts on funeral attire. I'd rather celebrate life in honor of the deceased. I think they would appreciate that.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I know exactly how you feel about being appropriate but I think you look beautiful and understated

We are the same ... I never know what to wear for funerals.

But you were so spot on with your outfit ... it was still pure sunshine with the orange top and black for chic (black does not necessarily mean death, right?!)
Have a great weekend!
