When I saw this jacket on Clearance, and than on sale for an additional 50% off I just couldn't resist. I love the fit, cropped and slightly boxy with a great belt to cinch the whole thing together. When we went out to dinner with some friends last weekend, I seized the perfect opportunity to debut the jacket. I was still recuperating from the virus that knocked me out a few weeks ago so being able to wear a simply black t-shirt and some jeans was key. I loved how this jacket really made the whole outfit look a bit classier. I may have been a little over dressed for board games after dinner, but I think my friends have come to appreciate my unnecessary outfits.
The real star of this outfit was the amazing necklace. Last week this gift arrived from the lovely Hillary at byhillary.com. If you haven't checked out her blog you must! Her honestly is unmatched and her outfits are always so well put together. After proving that I know my bloggers with a comment she sent me this lovely cameo necklace as a gift. I was so excited when it arrived! As a young girl, my mother always had cameo pins and necklaces, and so many of them were family heirlooms. I learned early on that cameo's were feminine and vintage and the perfect addition to any outfit. Now I have my own to display! Thanks again Hilary!!
