A friend of ours got some tickets through work for the last
Met's game of the season. Johnny is a Yankee fan to the end, but we are always up for supporting a fellow New York Team. With the new field open this year, we were excited to check out the new digs, and enjoy a game of America's favorite past time.
The field was beautiful. We were lucky enough to get seats in the VIP Suites thanks to the event, and boy did
Citi Field out do themselves! The seats were fantastic, the food was amazing and the game was great! The
Met's won the game in the end, but even if they hadn't nothing could have spoiled our fun!
With fall upon us, I knew I would need to dress in layers. Since I don't own anything in Met's colors, I paired a long sleeve blue shirt under my orange 3/4 length shirt, and borrowed my friends hat. Instant fan support! Johnny was able to borrow a jersey from our friends, which was lucky, because showing up in
Mets territory sporting Yankee Colors would not go over very well.
The day was great. The weather was fantastic the game was fun and our friends even won a broken game bat! We are so lucky they offered to bring us, and we are all so lucky that her company had those tickets!
