Suprise Package

A lot of blogs out here in blog-o-sphere host a bunch of giveaways. If they are items I like I always enter, and sometimes I enter them just because I like the actual entry rules. This giveaway fell into the later category. The beautifully chic Tracey over at Cute on the Cheap, http://cuteonthecheap.blogspot.com/ was hosting a giveaway in honor of her first day of work at her new job and I won!! She asked people to submit an idea of what outfit she could wear for her first day, and any idea would enter you into the drawing. I was just so excited to come up with the outfit ideas that the truth is, I almost forgot about the giveaway. So imagine my surprise when I see my name in my google reader almost 2 weeks later! My package arrived this week and I am the proud new owner of 3 clutches, 3 necklaces and 3 bracelets!! ( The red clutch I wore to our Giant Birthday Party in the last post)In the original giveaway picture, I could see how cute the clutches and the necklaces were, but the bracelets were such a nice surprise! The package was waiting on my doorstep when we got home from the Yankee Game so at 3am I was standing in my kitchen ripping through the box and paper to see what was waiting for me. Because I have such small wrists, I can only wear bracelets that are elastic or completely adjustable. Often time I have to double up on some bracelets or wear ones with links so I can adjust the size and let the extra links dangle. The three bracelets in the box however were both elastic and a small elastic making them the perfect size for my wrists! I loved how they sparkled, and are flat enough to be manageable for when I'm typing away at work. I didn't get a great picture of the bracelets, and since the above picture was taken at 3am on my kitchen counter( notice the fake green marble), I didn't do a very good job capturing the details. Don't worry though, all of these pieces you will be seeing again, and soon as I hope to find ways to show them off!!
