Tis' the Season

Johnny and I are now in that magical Season of life. The season in which everyone you know is either getting Engaged, getting Married or is Pregnant. We are so lucky to be surrounded by amazing friends who have allowed us to be a part of their life changing events. For most women, once you hear about one of the life changing events of a friend, you know that there will be a shower in the near future. Being the planner that I am, I am doing my best to start organizing items now that will be perfect for each blushing bride and mom-to-be's gathering. I have a baby shower this spring, a baby shower and wedding shower this summer and a wedding shower next spring. With at least 4 showers in the next year, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to add some of those neutral colors that I have been obsessing over for Spring this year to my wardrobe.

Target

Target's latest collection of Spring shoes have left me drooling, and wanting more. I've been slowly collecting more neutral colors for months now in clothing items, but have yet to fully dive into the shoe end of things. Both the Viviana Pump, and the Pearce Pump fit my needs perfectly. Their colors can take me from baby shower to engagement party, from Spring to Summer, and from party to work! These shoes can allow me to stand out in a crowd, without taking away from the bride. I also happen to think these shoes scream, ' Classy woman in power' and that is exactly what I'll need to shoes to declare to any unruly family members, or potentially rude vendors.

Forever 21

At least two of my showers this year will be held in outdoor setting. Backyard parties happen to be my favorite as I find there is nothing more romantic and elegant than an outdoor tea party. This of course means that heels will not be an option. Between the soft grassy turf, and my many trips from kitchen to party flats will be necessary. I am 5'7 and taller than most of my friends which means flats are a better choice for photos. Luckily I love pairing flats with my favorite skirts. The Sequin Floral shoe is therefore a great option, and will fit in perfectly with a casual lady-like affair. The Floral Espadrille's will be a welcome addition to any summer event, and can keep my feet looking cool, even when I'm sweating and stressed!

Payless

Payless happens to be my favorite go-to source for party shoes. They seem to always have the styles that I am dying for each season, and this Spring will be no exception. The lower heel on both the Koffee and Lyrice Shootie's means I can dance the night away with ease. The adorable details mean I can make a statement and the Peep Toe means that my necessary event pedicure will be able to shine. Not only am I sure these shoes could work, I'm not sure what I would wear without these shoes as an option!

Are you getting ready for all of your Spring events? Will any of your occasions call for the perfect shoe?
