Polka Dotted Day

I'm starting to enjoy the art of belting. I understand the concept behind it, but often have a hard time working with the execution. With a long torso, and a wider bottom I have to be careful not to break myself into two un-even proportions. With spring settling in however, I love the idea of throwing a belt on over a simple t-shirt and enjoying a classy comfort. When I spotted this belt hanging quietly in the back of an accessory shelf at Plato's Closet, I became more than a little excited. I have a love of polka dots. Maybe it's the subtle girly touch that they add to any outfit? I often have to hold myself back from wearing my polka dotted shirt, and skirt and heels together. One can never have to much girly accent right? This belt is a great addition to my closet. What a great way to add a subtle pattern. Plain shirt, Plain shrug, Plain jeans and an amazing belt to tie it all together? Sounds good to me.

I like the idea of polka dot accessories, but like you, I am not a huge fan of all over polka dotted clothing. Cute outfit :)

Wow, nice! I like how the purple shirt sleeves can still be seen outside of the white one. And the belt looks good! Usually I don't like belts around the waist, but this outfit pulls it off!
