Maurices Denim Review

My appreciate for Maurices started 4 years ago on a trip to visit a friend on college. In her local town there was a Maurices which we stopped at, and I promptly stocked up on items for school. A few months later, a store opened up in a neighboring town. I was ecstatic and have since made almost bi-monthly trips to check out the new inventory. They started selling their items online a few months ago, and I'm excited that now anyone can get their hands on their comfy sweaters, long lasting tank tops and super cute office options. When the amazing people at Maurices Corporate contacted me about reviewing some of their denim I was excited, and frankly a little nervous. I have a very hard time shopping for denim and have the worst time finding items that fit my inseam, and work around my butt. I agreed and made a trip over to my local store. After meeting with an unbelievably helpful sales associate, I began collecting every Size 5 in the store. I managed to try on every option they had and I'm excited to show you some of what they offer.
Recently Maurices added a premium denim to their line. These jeans come with unique little designs and remind me of a few different seven jeans that I own. I loved the darker wash of these jeans. They only came in one inseam, which is less than ideal for me personally but even the regular length brushed the floor. I'm a sucker for pocket details and these jeans have got personality pouring out of every seam. They do run a bit higher in price than the wall style denim, but you are getting a lot of jean for your money.

I was excited to break into the denim wall. My old company specialized in the denim walls and while I hated folding all those jeans, I do love great options. Most of these styles run in the $20 range and came in dark and light washes in almost all of the styles. I fell in love with the Taylor Denim. They fit me amazingly both length wise and in the butt. I tried on the Long version and was surprised by how much I preferred the darker wash to the lighter. When it comes to jeans, no two are alike no matter what the style on the tag says so never assume that buying one of each without trying them on will be okay. You may arrive home disappointed.

I typically stay away from Flare pants but I was eager to put some back on. The Molli were a great option and would fall into the In-Between category. Not to dark, not to light. These jeans were so comfortable! They were not stiff ( like most stores) and they were not thin either. I knew that these jeans would be perfect for crawling on the floor with my niece and could handle the sometimes hectic world of a late night bar.
In the end I walked out with a new pair of Ani Flare's. The kind people at Maurices gifted these to me in return for my review. And now you can get a pair too! Be sure and check out my giveaway below and enter quick! You only have until this weekend to get your entry in, and right now you have a great chance to be the winner!
