Rules of Wear

Rules of Wear

Someone once created the rule that White shouldn't be worn after Labor Day. I live to prove this mystery person wrong.

I pinned this picture of the lovely Sydney a few months ago, and just new that it was an inspiration image that could translate well for all seasons. A crisp white pants looks great for a Summer BBQ, but how fantastic they could also work with some boots and a white snowy background.

It seems as though I'll be able to practice my ' white pants on white snowy background' theory sooner than later. A very lovely six inches of snow covered us this weekend. Everyone seemed to take to the social media networks to bemoan the first 'snowstorm' of the season, but I didn't mind enjoying an evening of hiding inside in my comfy clothes. There is something just so peaceful about an evening full of snow.

Rules of Wear

Showing up to a party at the end of October in my white pants did elicit a few looks. In truth, I may have even been hopeful that I could start a few conversations about just how rebellious my rule breaking is. The main topic of conversation was instead how rebellious Mother Nature is. Six inches of snow before Halloween? Now that lady is crazy.
