Crayon Box ( 1:2)

I give my current beliefs on dressing in color rule to the lovely ladies at Academichic. I used to believe that Black and Brown were never to be worn separately, and certain shades should never be paired together. Through their various 'classes' and 'lessons' on the color wheel I have come to establish my current color rule, that there should be no rules!

It wasn't a conscious decision to suddenly throw all of the rules out the window, it just became somehow ingrained into my daily thinking. When I put these Bright Blue pants on this morning my first thought, naturally was to add my red sweater on top, and when the outfit was missing just the perfect little something I knew a pop of bright yellow was exactly what this look needed. I still am not convinced that I don't look a bit like a Kindergarten classroom, and I am also not sure that I don't love it. Bring on the color rules, sit back and watch me break them all!
